Last updated: March 2026
Lincoln Park Roofing respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on our website infringes on your copyright or other intellectual property rights, this page explains how to let us know and what we'll do about it.
How to Submit a Takedown Request
If you believe copyrighted material appears on our website without proper authorization, please send us a written notice that includes the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed (or, if multiple works are involved, a representative list).
- The specific URL or location on our website where the material appears, described in enough detail for us to find it.
- Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address so we can contact you.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

What Happens After We Receive Your Notice
Once we receive a valid takedown notice, we will:
- Review the request promptly.
- Remove or disable access to the material in question if the notice meets the requirements above.
- Make a good faith effort to notify the person who posted the content (if applicable) that it has been removed.
Counter-Notification
If content you posted was removed and you believe the takedown was a mistake or that you have the right to use the material, you may send us a counter-notification. Your counter-notification should include:
- Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if you're outside the United States, the Eastern District of Michigan) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed content within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.
False Claims
Please be aware that under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), anyone who knowingly makes a false claim of copyright infringement may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees. Do not file a takedown notice unless you genuinely believe your copyright has been infringed.
Repeat Infringers
We take copyright seriously. In appropriate circumstances, we will remove content from repeat infringers and take any additional steps required by law.
